Mamaniji Azanyah-bass, Kinah Boto-trap drums, Kebbie Williams-tenor saxophone and Sekou Alaje-Congas
Too often we concentrate on the thing we left in the past or place strong emphasis on what's to come. This particular piece of music as expressed to us by Ultimate Universe is asking us to live today, totally in the now, not thinking about what we should have done yesterday or yearn for what may come tomorrow but to be thankful for what we have today, seize the time and do what's necessary with the time given us in the now. I can almost hear Kebbie screaming on his saxophone "The time is now, not yesterday or tomorrow but now!!!" Anyway that's my view of this sharing. It was offered to us on a Spring day in March at the now closed "Lush Life Cafe" in the still flourishing West End.
